A video detailing the sugar and calorie content of a Dunkin' Donuts drink is going viral online. Food vlogger Bobby Parrish, also known as @flavcity, recently shared a short clip on TikTok where he explained what goes into the popular chain's Pumpkin Swirl Frozen Coffee—and many viewers were surprised.

"Who the heck thought it was a good idea to put this on the menu?" Parrish starts, before delving into a description of the drink's ingredients.

"This beverage contains 185 grams of sugar," he states, clarifying that this is equivalent to 46 teaspoons of sugar. To put it in perspective, that's the same amount of sugar found in 14 of the store's glazed donuts.

Parrish continues by mentioning that there is no actual pumpkin in the drink, just a large amount of artificial flavoring, which adds up to a total of 930 calories. Given the high rates of diabetes and pre-diabetic conditions in the United States, this is far from ideal. "If America consumes this, we're in trouble," he adds.

The video has been widely shared on Twitter.

Most Dunkin' and Starbucks drinks, excluding regular coffees, contain excessive amounts of sugar—especially in large sizes. It's troubling that some people have them on a daily basis 😭

I'm glad people are finally realizing that America is intentionally harming us. There is absolutely no justification for this other than creating health issues and benefiting big pharmaceutical companies. Consuming this much sugar in one sitting is unnatural and dangerous for humans.

Dunkin' Donuts must have created that drink in a lab to find the easiest way to harm someone.

However, some responses have taken a lighthearted approach to the video. "This made me realize donuts are so healthy," reads one of the top comments on the original TikTok, while another makes a joke: "According to girl math, if I don't drink this, I can eat 14 donuts."

Others have pointed out that most fast food chains are not known for offering nutritionally balanced products to their customers.

I don't understand the outrage over that Dunkin' drink. Yes, it's incredibly unhealthy, but what else is new? People don't order these sugary lattes thinking they're good for you 💀

"Dunkin' donuts drinks have too many calories." Okay, enough of that.

You are fundamentally overlooking the purpose of visiting Dunkin' Donuts
