Post Malone is flaunting the outcomes of his most recent lifestyle modifications.

The "Circles" vocalist — whose genuine name is Austin Richard Post — shared a selfie in front of a full-length mirror, showcasing his slender physique on Instagram on Aug. 28.

In the photo, he sports an all-black ensemble, including cowboy boots, a prominent belt buckle, and a baseball cap.

Post Malone attributes his weight loss to eliminating soda from his diet and returning to performing on stage. During an appearance on the "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast on Aug. 8, the "Sunflower" singer revealed that he had lost 55 pounds, going from 240 lbs. to 185 lbs.

"Performances, soda," he commented on what aided in his weight loss. "Soda is extremely harmful. It's so awful, yet it tastes so good. I'll have a soda. I'm a rebel, and I'll have a Monster energy drink."

He shared that after a successful show, he would indulge in his soda cravings.

"I had an incredible show, and you know what, I'm feeling a bit mischievous. I'm going to treat myself to a Coke on ice," he expressed.

Post Malone reducing his soda intake is just one of the lifestyle changes he has made this year. The singer mentioned in April that he has "never felt healthier" since welcoming his baby daughter in 2022.

In his Instagram post, he clarified that his weight loss was not a result of drug usage, stating, "I suppose fatherhood kicked in and I decided to quit soda and eat healthier so I can be there for this little angel for a long time."

At the time, he mentioned that his next step would be giving up smoking and alcohol. He also added that his mind was "in an extremely positive place" and that he was "the happiest I've been in a while."

In April 2022, UCLA Health physicians, Drs. Elizabeth Ko and Eve Glazier, emphasized the negative effects of consuming soda, including "obesity, improper blood sugar regulation, and diabetes. Recent studies have also demonstrated an association with high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol levels, and heart disease."

Furthermore, Ko and Glazier remarked that research indicates having at least one soda per day "significantly increases the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes." They also mentioned that diet sodas are "equally problematic" as they can enhance hunger and disrupt metabolism.

Post Malone previously encountered health problems. In September 2022, he called off his performance in Boston after experiencing difficulty with his breathing, which led to his admission to the hospital.

The musician has been actively touring under the If Y’all Weren’t Here, I'd Be Crying Tour since July 8. Presently, the tour continues until Dec. 3.
